Beaches and recreation

Cape Coral is a paradise for the golfer and angler and provides all possibilities for any kind of water sports. Cape Coral and its surroundings offer beautiful sand beaches and good water conditions. You can enjoy comfortable water temperatures all year round. In addition to Cape Coral, Fort Myers Beach and the islands of Sanibel, Captiva and Pine Island make for amazing trips by boat or car. At the beach you can often watch the dolphins or even be accompanied by them on your boat trip.

For families with children Fort Myers Beach is especially suited. The currents are very low and the water is shallow enough to provide for your child’s safety.

In Cape Coral itself you can find the Cape Coral Yacht Club Community Park with a sand beach at the Caloosahatchee river. At Dolphin Drive there is a small beach with a restaurant, sports opportunities and a playground. Miles and miles of white sand beach stretch along the Gulf of Mexico in Fort Myers Beach / Estero Blvd. Ideal for families and depending on the section there are the possibilities to go fishing at the pier, renting jet skies or going parasailing.

Another worthwhile trip is a tour to the island of Sanibel or Captiva Island.
